Class Description

Class Levels

  • 1.0  Beginners Level 1 (4 age -5) – working on basic skills such as, forward rolls, lunges, scales, cartwheels, handstands, back bends and back rolls. Not very mature and still wants to play in class….
  • 1.5 – Intermediate Level  1 (age 4-7) – working on basic skills such as, forward rolls, lunges, scales, cartwheels, handstands, back bends and back rolls. Acquire the ability begin working on skills without coach.  Maturity level is increasing with little to no play. Has a good grasp of the Cartwheel and all the above skills. Could be level 2 but mature is just not there.
  • 2.0 –  Beginners Level – 2 (age 5 & up) Athlete is still working on basic skills. Possess a better ability to work on skills without coach’s presence and is Very mature with little to no play. A beginners level of specialty tumbling will be introduced in this class. Has a good grasp of the Round and is able to work by his or her self on skills given by the coach. Athlete could be level 2.5 but lack skills and maturity.
  • 2.5 – Advance Level 2 – (age 6 & up) – still working on all basic skills and can now perform back bend kick-overs, Back walk-overs, and is now able to work on backhand springs and round off backhand springs. Athlete must be mature and discipline. An intermediate level of specialty tumbling will be introduced in this class.  Has a strong grasp connect skills and is able to work by his or her self on skills given by the coach. Almost has backhand springs and round off backhand spring. Could be level 3.0 but skills and maturity is just not there.
  • 3.0 – Beginners Level 3 – (age 6 & up)still working on all basic skills and can now perform back bend kick-overs, Back walk-overs, and is now able to work on backhand springs and round off backhand springs. Athlete must be mature and discipline. Has a strong grasp connecting skills and is able to work by his or her self on skills given by the coach. Has backhand springs and round off backhand spring and is working on a serious of backhand springs.  Start punch fronts, stand and running backhand spring tucks. Could be level 3.5 but lack some skills.
  • 3.5 – Advance Level 3– (age 6 & up)Athlete is still working on all basic and intermediate skills above. Athlete must be mature and discipline Has a strong grasp connecting skills and is able to work by his or her self on skills given by the coach. Has backhand springs series and round off backhand springs. Athletes will continue to work on standing tuck, backhand spring whips, standing backhand spring tucks & running backhand spring tucks. A true source of specialty tumbling will be taught in this class.  Has completed punch fronts and rush lifts in this class. Could be level 4.0-4.5-5.0 but lack some skills.
  • 4.0, 4.5 to 5.0 – Advance Level 4 & 5 (age 6 & up) Athlete is still working on all basic and intermediate skills above. Athlete must be mature and discipline Has a very strong grasp connecting skills and is able to work by his or her self on skills given by the coach. Athlete has mastered many of the skills above. A true source of specialty tumbling is enhanced by adding A Layout, A Full, A Double Full, A Standing Full, Russian Lifts, Arabians, etc.
